Campitos Turquoise is mined in Sonora, Mexico and the mine has been in production since the 1980’s. Campitos differs from other turquoise by the way it grows. Campitos Turquoise develops in clay rich Earth forming solid nuggets rather than veins in host rocks. Colors range from deep to light blues and greens.
